About Me/Contact
Who I am
I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Miami, did eight years in NYC, and now I’m back in LA. I graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in journalism and sociology.
Before editing at Esquire, Business Insider, and Men’s Journal, I was an intern at New York magazine, (the old, delightful) Radar magazine, and the Chicago Reader.
I’ve interviewed everyone from Timothy Olyphant and Doug Liman and Sarah Polley to Stephen Colbert and Amy Sedaris to Mick Jagger and Mavis Staples to Aisha Tyler and Kal Penn to a sex worker and people who chose to wait 90 minutes in line for a bagel. Not necessarily in that order. (If it’s not obvious, I love learning from strangers.) Longreads once called me “thoroughly entertaining.”
I also love B-movies, aging pop stars, and lamb in any form.
